Clinical Experience
Carina brings close to 30 years of experience as a psychologist, facilitator and trainer. Alongside her clinical work, she has had an extensive career in international human resources and healthcare benefits management, giving her a broad organisational and global perspective. She is a Board Approved Supervisor with the Australian Psychological Society. Having lived and worked around the world, Carina brings depth, diversity, curiosity and a grounded sense of humour to her work.
Recognising the importance of the interplay between psychological and physical wellbeing, Carina completed a further three years of training as an Alexander Technique practitioner across the UK, Canada and Australia. Carina has previously served as a Council Member and Editor with the Australian Society for Alexander Technique and is currently their Global representative.
For the past decade, she has specialised in Intensive Therapy approaches to support individuals experiencing trauma, injury, grief and periods of significant growth. She has a particular interest in developmental trauma, working with historical experiences and the reprocessing of emotional patterns to support post-traumatic growth. Carina also works closely with emergency services personnel and military veterans, assisting them in managing crisis trauma and its ongoing impacts.
