Who We Are
The team at Pathways are a complement of diverse skills and experiences and we have worked diligently to achieve the right mix of great professionals and great people. We would love you to meet them.

Carina – Owner & Principal Psychologist
Carina is the Principal Psychologist and works with you in your tailored Intensive therapy experience. Carina is a Somatic Psychologist working with both the mind and body and their interplay as part of you. She is a Board Approved psychology supervisor, an Alexander Technique allied health practitioner and a seasoned trainer, facilitator and public speaker. Carina has a background in global organisations, managing large-scale change programs and international health and benefit programs.
Working with Carina allows to you to experience a range of specialist technical skills, along with a human approach to therapy. Whilst we know that the topics we work with can be very serious, we integrate a lightness and a little fun along the way.
Carina values ongoing learning and undertakes extensive professional development and skill enhancement.
Carina has the travel bug and has been to 56 countries so far. She can usually be found trying some form of dance or sport; she tries one craft activity every holiday (just for the creativity and joy of it…. not the prowess) and loves a live concert or stage show.

Karen – Practice Administrator
Karen is the person who keeps everything at Pathways to Performance running smoothly behind the scenes. She manages Carina’s calendar and handles the day-to-day operations of PTP, ensuring that there’s enough time for clients, clinical work and planning.
Karen’s spent over 20 years running her own admin business, so she’s seen it all. Karen’s strength is taking the logistical stress off everyone else’s plate so PTP can flow.
Living in North East Victoria, Karen loves hosting family and friends in her neck of the woods, especially her two granddaughters. She’s a big fan of the crafts her mum taught her, you’ll often find her busy with knitting, crochet, sewing, or cross-stitch. When she’s not keeping our schedule on track, she’s usually in the garden, baking something fresh, or winding down with a cup of tea and a book.
Justine – Finance & Accounts Coordinator
Justine is the bookkeeper at Pathways to Performance, working part-time to keep the financial side of PTP organised. With over 30 years in the finance industry, Justine brings a calm, steady hand to our accounts and reporting.
Outside of work, Justine is a big fan of travel and still has plenty of destinations she’s planning to tick off her bucket list. When she’s at home, she’s usually busy with cross-stitch or her latest project, learning how to crochet.

Lauren – Practice Experience Coordinator
Lauren’s focusses upon client experience and operational support. She works behind the scenes to ensure the client journey is smooth and welcoming. Recently, she has helped to create our client information packs including both our Intensive Therapy Handbook and Workbooks. Currently, Lauren is busy building a new online resource hub for us, combining everything from workshops to activity booklets.
Currently completing her final year of a double degree in Business and Law, Lauren brings a strategic, solutions-focused mindset to the team. She enjoys finding smarter ways to work and has a passion for streamlining the systems that keep us moving forward.
Outside of her studies and her work with Pathways, Lauren is a self-confessed foodie who loves exploring Melbourne’s restaurant scene or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. She’s also often found at the beach or planning her next weekend escape.
